CORPORAL RAFAEL TORRES RODRIGUEZ, RA30413556, Infantry, Company "G", 65th Infantry, 3d Infantry Division, United States Army. On 2 February 1951, near Tongwon-ni, Korea, when the second platoon was attacked by a numerically superior enemy force, Corporal TORRES RODRIGUEZ opened fire with his machine gun and, although forced to stop firing on two occasions to prevent overheating of his weapon, continued firing until the machine gun went out of action.
